This festival was held as a third time this year,and the bands from other countries appeared for the first time.Not many metal bands play,and I wondered if there were any metal festivals in this county,so it was great to see this festival.
I got to Pedigree Corner by a special festival bus departed from Dublin. The venue was slightly smaller than I thought,but it was enough space and there were some seats outside to drink as well

There hadn't been many chances to see Irish bands for me,so it was good opportunity to do it.

I saw Sol Axis for the first time.I 've seen quite many black metal bands from other European countries,but it was the first time to see the Irish one. By the way,when I saw their gig, I thought I'd seen them before,and then I recognized that I'd seen them several times in Bruxcelles which was a metal pub in Dublin.I didn't know they played the black metal band until then

Unexpectedly,a Bathory tribute band played Bathoty's songs,to tribute to Quorthon from Bathory who passed away just before the festival date.
Which band hit to my mind the most in this day was definitely Mael Mordha.It was the first time to see them,and I didn't know even their reputation about their excellent gigs until then

They represented their music was 'Gaelic Doom Metal',and it had really strong identity,so I suppose it would be unforgettable band if you see their gig once.
Ancient Rites played over the midnight as the first band from other countries in this festival. it was great gig as their appearance,and especially as a first gig after Gunther(Vo/Bass) had a skin head

When finally Dismember started to play,there was really cloud in front of the stage.Quite many people enjoyed diving,and feeling over the festival run high

After the festival,I got to Dublin by the special festival bus again,and then it was already 5:00 am

Anyway,I really enjoyed to see the first Irish metal festival,and I hope it is getting bigger every year.
